Bereavement Counselor

Kristy Suire, LCPC, is the Bereavement Counselor at HOPE Healthcare and Hospice. She received a Bachelor’s Degree from Louisiana State University in Family Child and Consumer Science with a minor in Sociology and a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling from Life Christian University.

She is a Certified Temperament Therapist and has been practicing for the past eighteen years. Kristy began working with HOPE Healthcare and Hospice in 2018. In addition to her role at HOPE, she is also an ambassador for One Acadiana.

Kristy's passion for her work, specifically those impacted by hospice, is palpable. When asked for a quote, she said, “What I love most about working with hospice is being part of a team that brings their individual best to the table. Having a place on a hospice team is a calling, not a choice. Families and patients are vulnerable. Being part of this trusted team of professionals who care for them is an honor! I like being called to something words cannot express—something supernatural.”
