Preserving your loved one's memories for years to come

HOPE Healthcare and Hospice recognizes the value of lasting memories. We also understand the importance of helping veterans tell their stories.

HOPE is thrilled to offer veterans the opportunity to preserve these moments in a complimentary digital format.

Veterans' memories and cherished stories will be accessible via QR Codes for loved ones to treasure and be passed down to future generations; their service to our country should always be remembered and appreciated.

Hear Lizzy's Story

"Call me back" was the only message saved from my mom, and I wish I still had it today.

That's why HOPE Healthcare and Hospice offers The Legacy Project, which preserves the most unique memory of your loved one - their voice.

This is one way we can comfort family and friends when missing their loved ones.

HOPE Healthcare and Hospice offers The Legacy Project as part of our commitment to providing bereavement to families when support and comfort are needed most.

The Legacy Project for Veterans

This project allows veterans to create a special message for their loved ones to listen to whenever comfort is needed most. These cherished stories and memories will be preserved for loved ones to listen to anytime, anywhere. It's as simple as asking questions or suggesting a story to be recorded.  HOPE converts these stories to a QR Code format and presents them to the family.

Let HOPE help you hold on to precious moments that otherwise might be lost. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator at (337) 703-4674 for assistance recording.

Do you remember when...

It's as simple as asking questions or making a suggestion:

  • What branch of the military did you serve?
  • What was your most incredible adventure or experience?
  • What words of wisdom do you have for the next generation?
  • Let's talk about whatever makes you happy.

HOPE is Proud to Announce that we are We Honor Veterans Level 4 Certified

HOPE Healthcare and Hospice is proud to announce its achievement of Level 4 Partner status with We Honor Veterans (WHV), a program by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs. This partnership underscores our commitment to providing Veteran-centric end-of-life care by integrating Veteran-specific staff education, collaborating with community organizations, and continuously improving best-practice standards for serving Veterans in hospice care.

A key component of our Veteran-centric approach is The Legacy Project, Honoring Our Veterans, which fosters a deep connection with the Veteran community and honors their invaluable service to our country. Through this initiative and our Level 4 partnership with WHV, we are dedicated to enriching the end-of-life care experience for Veterans.
